On March 18, 2024, the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR) published a survey report on the findings of statutory audit quality assurance reviews conducted at the six largest global audit firm networks. The survey focused on audits of the company’s quality control system and the audit of listed entities of public interest (POI), including systemically important financial institutions. Even though the number of audit reviews listed by PIO with at least one finding has gradually decreased since 2014, an increase was recorded in 2023 compared to 2022.
